SEST Map
« on: October 30, 2011, 04:39:56 PM »

Does anyone know if this SEST map - 009CAH002.dt0 - which is for 2010-2011 Touring CVO will work with my 2009 FLTRSE3? I do have the latest software and downloads installed. Just not sure sense the 02 sensors were changed between the years, there is no Closed loop bios adjustment on this map. I do have SEST map - 205UJ004.dto which is for 2008-2009 Touring CVO.

Because of the different sensors, I would recommend using the 2009 map.  It's a baseline map anyway, and unless you've got the autotune software, and love to play with the maps, you'll have to get it dyno'd anyway.  Have you changed anything, equipment-wise, that makes you wanting to depart from the map you already have?

I do have the Auto Tune Software and I am learning the software. The map that is in the bike is a good custom map modified by the original owner of the bike. It has a few minor issues such as cold weather starting. The bike has Vance&Hines Power Dual Headers, BUB 7 Mufflers, SE251 cams, adjustable push rods. and other goodies. My biggest issue is the 14.6 AFR that is set. I would like to drop it down a little to 14.3 or so to help with heat & to run slightly richer. Gas mileage at this point is around 37 - 38 highway and 40 - 42 around the twisties. Also as I mentioned in the last post, most of the gas around here is 10% ethanol. According the newer maps, gas @ 10% ethanol we should run the AFR @ 14.3. Another thing is when I open my map the software say's that there is a newer map and will use it. I do believe that the software will transfer the mapping of the older, (003) into the newer, (004) automatically when it opens. This I am not sure of but that is what appears to happen. I know I can the cranking fuel richer so solve that issue but not sure about the AFR, unless this is done though the bios.
BTW, thanks for replying.
I've attached a copy of my current map
