LED King Tour Pak light Kit

I have a King Tour Pak for my 2015 SG. I am looking to install the smoke LED King Tour Pak Brake/Turn/Tail lamp kit P/N 67800368. The kit is sold as a direct replacement for the original red tail lamp kit and did not come with a drilling template or any hardware. Has anyone done this modification to their 2015 SG? I am looking for a drilling template and also advice on the wiring.

The instruction sheet did come with the light. I am looking for a drill template and the correct wiring harness. Thanks

What are you doing for wiring? My dealer said that it can't be done because HD doesn't offer a harness for it.

I believe this is it, plugs in right under the seat, simple Y adapter, unplug the black connector, plug this in and your done

Two riding buddies just completed this mod on their 2015 SG Specials.  No template is available, they had to make one.  As for a wiring harness, they had to get one of the HD Tech's to either modify a wiring harness or make one...can't recall which.  Seems like the problem was the HD wiring harness isn't compatable with the SG.  It cost them several hundred dollars in labor for the harness mods and install.  Adamec HD on Baymeadows in Jacksonville, FL, did the harness work.  Hope this helps.

Do your tour pack LEDs work as brake lights and turn signals?

I have that harness but, I was told it only runs tail/brake lights. Any truth to that?  :nixweiss:

I think that's the problem and why the harness has to be modified.

Mark, Yes it only runs tail/brake lights  No turn signals

Thanks Mark, I made a template and mounted the light myself. On the recommendation of my dealer, I ordered the wiring harness to make the tour pac detachable. The wiring harness will have to be modified to make the wrap around tail light fully functional for run,brake and turn signals. It is that or have a custom made wiring harness crafted.
