Chrome. If you weren't putting drink holders on, I would say powder engine guard and go all black. I think the drink holders will vibrate and ware the shine off of the black guards.

the drink holder is a leather pouch that I have had on previous bikes...no vibration of a solid mount holder

Powder coating the eng guard involves opening up the cooling system---don't want to do that.

I personally can't stand those bars, I think they look like handicap assist bars, nothing against anyone that needs that kind of assistance but I just think they take away from the lines of the bike. I bought these things from Yaffe's Bagger Nation, although they don't look very heavy, they are. Just another option for you.

Leader Motorcycle makes a nice cup holder with different ways to mount them.

I agree they do take away some lines from the bike.........but I like my drink holder.  I don't really want something mounted to the bars.

I guess chrome guards it is.....

If I remember correctly the current saddlebag supports are black.....you can see them on the bottom in front of the bags.....I was thinking maybe the black would blend in with the bags so they would not be so noticeable.

But I am leaning towards chrome anyway at this point.

Chrome I vote, but I'm partial to chrome  :) :2vrolijk_21:  I had to put the chrome mirrors on also.  Why they stopped that this is beyond me.  Ah wait to save $35 on the build.

the more I look at this pic I feel like the black would blend in and not be as noticeable....If I could just find a way to have them powder coated to match the bike.....

Just my 2 cents, the bike has chrome features all over it, lower legs, rims, dash, exhaust, etc, gotta go chrome. The black when noticed will stand out against the chrome and look out if place.  :drink:
