Relocate Data Port Plug?
« on: February 21, 2013, 05:51:48 PM »

Does anyone make an extension cable that can be purchased and used to relocate the data port somewhere else on the bike (inside tour pak or saddle bag maybe)?

I hate removing the left bag (Brukus security bolts) and side cover every time that I want to connect to it.  I'm thinking this would make it easier to quickly connect a TTS/SEPST and laptop to collect vtune data.

Tom

Four pin Deutsch connectors can be had on eBay cheap.  Kit prices with all the terminals and a male and female connector.  You can get cheap crimpers that are good enough for minimal use there too.  Easy to make your own that way if you choose to and you gain having the tool at home.

Thanks for the advice.  I'll check out eBay.
