Anybody ever read that fine print on the work order they ALWAYS make you sign when you drop your bike off at any place that does work?  Even if the place burns down because of a drunk employee playing with gas and fireworks, you "release" the dealer from liability to any damages.

That statement on the work order is worth absolutely zilch in a court of law, and the dealerships and others who use it on their work orders know that.  The only reason they still have it printed on all their forms is that they know there are plenty of folks who will fall for it.

Update: went riding with a couple of buddy's (on the loaner '14 limited) and thought about all the different scenarios and decided the best option was the '15 C.V.O. Ultra Limited, so I stopped back at the dealership right about 5pm today, as soon as I walk in I was greeted by one of the salesman (most everyone knows who I am by now & what happened to my bike) he asked if decided on a deal....I thought so...they had I think four or five of them in the office. ....told the I would accept their offer but wanted a gift card for half the difference of where we were apart, tried 1/2 again he said he couldn't do it. ......so I threw out I needed new rain gear for my ol'lady ($225)...they had me wait outside the office for about 20 + minutes finally agreed to a deal.......Carbon Dust/Charcoal Slate (+ lots of extras) & here's the kicker the mechanic (that crashed my bike) is leaving @ 4am to pickup the new bike @ the dealerships other store 220 (+/-) miles away (440 miles roundtrip) so I can pickup the New bike tomorrow. .....walked away a very happy camper. .......

Got full retail plus $2000 for the daymaker headlights & tires ($1702) that I had them install just two weeks before all this happened. ....... (+ rain gear for the 'ol lady) so real happy........
