Have had both fixed. Right side by far harder to re-coop. Tore off my Superspanatus and a muscle in back. They cut 1/4" off collar and shoulder bone.

Count on at least 4 months. Shoulder is the hardest joint together your ROM back.

I cannot believe this I have an appointment tomorrow to look at my left shoulder my right gave me a fit about a year ago and did physical therapy and its seemes to be good  I hope its not surgery for me  I was told that rotator cuff surgery has a 90% failure rate.... I may not go to the appointment tomorrow

I was told it is a 90 % success rate, but, that was the surgeon telling me.

Get an MRI yet?

2 arrows points to a narrowing of the bones impinging on the tendon - arthritis - bone spurs - what ever you want to call it. Need this dremeled out.

3 arrows, lighter dark area is bone, white is tendon and the black hole between them is a "full thickness separation"

Well I've had both of my shoulders totally replaced with Titanium shoulders and a round plastic ball, best thing I've ever done. But at our age your going to be out I'd guess 6 months, before you really feel comfortable to handle the bike! Good luck!

Bunch of guys down here have had them done, six months is the usual "limited use" time. Re-hab seems to be an essential element.
