I am obviously biased since I have had Legends on three different bikes and no experience with any other brand.  I find them to have good ride quality which is important to me and my co-rider as we do quite a bit of long distance touring.  If you like to push it and have the greatest handling then I honestly don't know how Legends stack up.

The only complaint I've ever heard about Legends is that they are slow to pump up so if you plan to drop it down every time you stop and air it back up when you start back up that may be an issue.  I set it and forget it.  Only real adjustments is from solo to two-up and then again if pulling the Bushtec trailer.

Over the ten years or more I've had Legends I've had to send them back for service - oil leak once and air leak another.  I found their customer service to be exceptional and fast.

Hope this helps.

You have to get a air tank and bigger compressor.  I went with the Dirty Air bag rail mounted tank...

I hope you enjoy them more than i did. Sorry but for me they were to hard no matter the setting, at the end of the day they are  now back in there box after just two outings, my back just couldn't cope.
After talking to Arnott they decided i was to light for there setup at 72kg ???? WTF..

I now have Ohlins and love them.

Good luck, i do hope you have better success. :2vrolijk_21:

Thanks Skycat.  They claim that this is their new air shocks and it has improved... They have a 30 day return policy.

Same with me, Arnotts rode very harsh, I got rid of them also. I wonder if Legends are "much" better.

The original Arnott shocks were Aldans and now they went with Fox. The Aldans were harsh....

At one time the best Arnott had to offer were the inexpensive Bilsteins. I'm curious how the Fox shocks ride.

The Legends I had were just as harsh as the Aldans by Arnott.

AirFx.
Excellent travel with adjustable pressure/tension based on your weight or riding style.

I've heard good things about them. Rumored to build custom shocks also which is what I'd be after as I want max travel.

I have probably the old version and have been happy but they do bleed down overnight but took me awhile to figure out why my alarm was going off at a hotel which probably didn't make me very popular. Anyway I just got used to dropping them down when I park. ;D

LOL.

I always dump the air when I park, just in case.
