Those of you with the best 2010 SESG out there (the Candy Concord of course) that have a C&C seat installed, what color thread did you use for your stitching.  I'm doing the solo seat with the riders backrest with a flame pattern.  Thanks in advance.

I actually called and requested thread samples and they were not interested.  I offered to pay for them.  I chose Meditrianian.

I think a two thread stitch pattern using both colors of blue......the lighter color of our flames and the darker color of our bikes.....would look really nice on our bike.  Something like Jon did on his Ultra Classic here....  http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=40248.msg642453#msg642453

Thanks for the help I see what you mean JCZ.  I was going to go for the candy color but I've decided against that as I am going to go with the pinstripe color.  Of course me trying to match colors is a wash as I'm partial colorblind so I used the BSR for this task as she tells me that the pinstrip color is more a medium blue or even sky blue.  Dave from C&C sent me colors but they were more of the Candy Concord color so back to square one.

I think that Harley Charley is on point here as his color match is pretty damn close...........

Thanks guys.

I'm suggesting that you use two colors of blue.....the candy and the powder blue.....and have it double stitched as Jon's seat in the link I provided above. :2vrolijk_21:

You have a light blue and a dark blue sewn side by side for a better contrast.
