HD 2.5 LED FOG LIGHTS ON CRADSH BAR
« on: July 26, 2016, 02:01:59 PM »

Looking to pull the trigger on these for better lighting in tight corners. Around $700 installed. Thoughts, Worth it or do I just step up and buy the running lights and mounting kit?

Just my .02 for a RoadKing I would get the running lights. If you wanted more after that I would get Motolights.....

Look into the Cirius USA Polished Tube-Mounted White LED Lights for the crash bar. I have them on my 2011 RG Ultra and love them. Look at JP Cycles (LED Lighting). I had them installed for about $350.00.

You mean this Harley light on the crash bar?  If so it's not that much extra effort to drill the bar and run all the wires internally.

I did them on mine and love them. Ran wires inside the bar and looks very clean. Huge difference in the dark twisties

What's the light output on the Cirius?  I pulled up their website and couldn't find it...

Ok, you guys closed me lol. I went with a black trim ring on headlight and black bracket kit with LED running lights plus put the custom dynamics blinkers that are white until you put the blinkers on:) it looks friggin awesome! I also had them set it up so the running lights stay on with high beam. I can't wait to ride at night and give them a try.

This addition looks great and adds good side and close lighting but didn't really help with corner lighting. Any ideas? Maybe a different headlight.

Take a look at the dynamic turn signal rings from custom dynamics put a lot of light at the sides.  http://www.customdynamics.com/harley_davidson_led_turn_signals.htm
