My experience with Royal Blue

I used the car wash on my wife's car and it appeared to add shine.

Sunday morning before a ride with some friends, I washed by bike with the car wash and since I was a little a head of time, I decided to wax half of my fairing with Royal Blue and the other half  with Mother's wax that I have had for a few years. I also did the same to the gas tank. The bike is a 2000 EG with black paint.

I asked several of my friends to inspect the fairing and tank -- they did not know what wax I used on which side. Unfortunately they all chose the Mothers wax side as being the best.

I will say that the Royal Blue was easier to apply and wipe off --

So I will continue to experiment

I made a mistake and packed my bottle of Royal Blue wax in my beach bag thinking it was sunscreen. To my amazement the stuff not only kept me from getting a sunburn but it repelled bugs and attracted hot chicks!!

I guess I get to jump in this thread now. While at a flea market today there was a guy selling the stuff with the full blown car display. Having read this thread numerous times already I had almost bought some online. The special today was buy the wax and get a free bottle of detailer along with a micro fiber towel. Regular price about $50. Whole kit for $20 today.
Buddy of mine says I wonder if he'll deal any lower. I told the guy that I have three trucks and a bike to keep clean. Can you give me two kits for $30? He thought about it for a minute and said since he was leaving soon he'd do it. My buddy and I both have it now for $15 each. :)

Very nice Mike. Did you get any more rides in around the Dragon? How was the return trip?

I remember when I bought my first case at a demo during a bike rally. Been a long time user; on my last bottle of that purchase. About time for another batch.  :)

I wax my MC once a year. A box would last me two life times.

3 total. Had to take it getting to and from the campground as we came down I-75 from Dayton and once on Saturday. Return trip sucked as always. 11.5 hours in the saddle. If my buddy from Cleveland would not have been able to make it, I would have used my rampage and hauled the bike to Dayton. At least the last 3.5 hours home from there would have been more comfy on the slab.

Can't wait to see what this stuff does on my truck and see if the airbrushing stands out any better.

Ok ... I love my Meguiar's, but maybe I'll try a ride on the Royal Blue train. Who carries it close to Pgh? I don't feel like having it shipped. The way I look at it is everything is only a bike ride away for me .... as long as I don't have to ride to Ca.
