Am in sales myself so am also gearing up for a busy period. Have not given any thought about a Hog chapter so the Melb chapter will do me fine. Some frequent gatherings for us Oz CVO owners is a mighty fine idea.
Cheers
Glen

Guys, it will also be a close thing for me to get there after returning from OS, but I will try.  I like the idea of the CVO riders getting together on a semi regular basis.  There may be an opportunity to do that early next year.  Our HOG chapter (Broadmeadow) is hosting the NSW state HOG rally from 22 to 25 April 2011 here in Newcastle.  That might be an opportunity for us to host a number of CVO riders as well if your schedules permit.  Link to our site with details of the rally attached:

Hi Guys .
Just had my 1600km service done and fitted V&H Power duals and High Ouput Slip-ons fitted  and a tune with a  PC5 . What a difference !! I thought this SESG was  awesome before , but now its even better. Right thigh heat issue completely resolved too !! .  :pepper:  :pepper:

Lance the power difference is quite noticable. The bike just breathes better and the accelleration is "crisper" ,with no hesitation and linear all the way to red line. Mate I will post a few pics over weekend .
I think I will get a good dyno tune , but I have to travel about an hour and a half to do this , so just need to organise a day off.
The bigg difference is the decrease in heat from the rear cylinder.
Its sounds great - a real deep rumble - and you can still hear the stereo at cruise on highway , but I would rather listen to the glorious Harley rumble!  :2vrolijk_21:

Hey Dave
You're the colonial trailblazer with those mods - based on your positive news I'll definitely be fitting the power duels at 1600 kms. I see you have fitted a PC5 - was this fitted by your dealer? My stealer was adamant I would void my warranty if I went this route - I had no choice but to fit a HD race tuner for 700 clams, but that included the dyno tune at 1600kms when the girl is somewhat broken in.
Cheers
Glen

Hi Glen , (and others)
Mate that's a good question about voiding the warranty and the definitive answer is - YES , thats right , fitting the PC5 technically voids the drive train warranty.
However I have an extremely good relationship with my dealer ( Bundaberg Motorcycles  :2vrolijk_21: ).
This is the 5th Harley I have purchased from them and I think last count my 8th bike ( I also like Triumphs  :) ) in 6 years.
When we discussed this issue they said technically the PC 5 voids the warranty , but because I am a long term and regular customer , and because they do ALL my mechanical work etc. they would always look after me.
I made the decision to take their word - they have never let me down in the past - and go ahead with the PC 5 instead of the SE unit . The PC5 gives a lot more options in the future and is easier to set up ( ? )
I will give a big plug now for the team and BUNDABERG MOTORCYCLES  :2vrolijk_21:
These guys are by far the best dealer I have dealt with ! They follow through with any enquires and always deliver on their promise . Thats been my experience anyway! So this was my personal decision and I am a very happy customer.
Dave
ps pics to follow ( hopefully )
