HAVE HAD MY BIKE FOR SIX DAYS AND THE AMP FOR THE AUDIO SYSTEM HAS STOPPED WORKING. AM ON A TRIP SO TOOK IT TO THE NEAREST DEALER WHO CHECKED IT OUT. THEY CALLED TO SEE IF THEY COULD GET ANOTHER ITS BACK >:( :(ORDERD UNTIL NOV 24. ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS ISSUE

I have not had a problem with my radio. 3 to 4 times my IPOD didn't work after shutting down and then starting the bike back-up such as at a fuel stop. All I do is unplug the IPOD and away I go.

3000 miles mine went out also, no radio at all. I hope this isnt going to be an ongoing problem :nixweiss:

I also have had my i-pod not work when re-starting. Usually cycling through the mode untill i-pod comes back around works.
-
My ipod seems to cut out an awful lot, I reset it, restart the bike, and seem to get back to where I was ... Newest oddity is the ipod working showing up on the screen, etc) but no audio at all ... Radio still works, shut down, reboot, and it works again.
It's like my first Windows XP machine..

Same issues. My amp is being replaced and it was backordered until mid November. Apparently the new amp is being upgraded to eliminate the glitches.

great bike other than that talked to my HD dealer service manager he said my replacement has shipped and should be here soon

Knock on wood but almost 7K miles and I havent had any problems with the radio or iPod. The only problem I have is that after you shut off the bike, it doesnt come back to the playlist I have selected. It just starts playing all music. Oh well... Minor technical difficulties.

I found out purely by accident, that if you shut the HK radio off using the power button on the radio before you shut the bike down, and then turn it back on after you've started the bike, the iPod will continue from where it was when you shut the radio off.

Thanks for the info, I will give that a shot. Was kind of a pain in the rear. I didnt know it wasnt playing the full playlist until I was down the road listening to Christmas music, or comedy I had on the iPod. I keep mine on shuffle. LOL :P
