Engine guard for a SE Deuce
« on: May 16, 2011, 09:56:43 AM »

Anyone know of an engine guard that will work on a SE Deuce? My wife is just a bit intimidated by the weight of hers and I think if she knew it wouldn't get hurt so bad if/when she lays it down, she wouldn't worry so much. Looked through all the photos I could find in the Deuce thread and didn't see one bike with an engine guard installed. I understand why, the generally mess up the look of the bike but I've got a special application her so am willing to forego a bit of the style factor if my better half can rest easier.

There r some little wheels that drop down like little kickstands when the bike stops and lift when u go. Don't remember the name but someone here should, I would think??

The HD guards for softails ('03-04) should fit.  If you want a bit more style, look at the Lindbar from Lindby customs.

I'll tell my wife you think she needs training wheels. Just a tip, she's quite skilled with a pistol.
