Anyone use one of these? Looks interesting and is auto-tuning.

There are a few threads on that product already.  Try the "Search" button up top and you'll discover them.  While not all the following are a few examples.  You won't fun much terribly flattering.

It works, but not great.  I tried it a couple years ago for chits and giggles, and it's a big improvement over the stock ecm program.  No more stalling, back firing, ran cooler, more power, better throttle response... but it does nothing optimally.  If it cost $150-$200, it would be an okay upgrade, but you're much better off going with a TTS Mastertune.

Don't waste your money.

Ask your buddy Ken!
I'm sure he has an opinion.
And probably a good one.

"My buddy Ken"? Are you speaking about the guy in another thread I posted? OIC...sarcasm. I dig that.   ;D

Thanks for the links. Looks like a waste of time using this unit. Really want some type of auto-tune. I'm not in an area where I have easy access to a shop regularly. I will need to install myself or travel to do anything I can't do at the dealership...which isn't much. I think the service manager thinks more of himself than his actual knowledge can back up when it comes to anything beyond the HD manual.

BINGO! Yup sarcasm it is. You are doing well here. A little rocky start but your coming around.
NEXT,
Come to a GTG and you will meet some great people, well most of them anyway!
I'm surprised Ken didn't comment about that feeble attempt at a fuel controller.
He's getting a little slack, must be out polishing on Honey Badger!

I may just do that...........
I travel multiple weekends throughout riding season to hang out with guys from the builder forums so I'm far from shy about that. Hell, I even host one of the meets which we pull about 65 people to attend from as many as twelve states.

I just haven't decided yet if they are ready for you guys or if you guys are ready to meet them!  ;D

Ken

At least you auto tuned to stop trying to do that better than the "autotuners" available these days. Took me a while to learn to stop trying to inform the dumb (m)asses on the subject also. They have their place in the industry I supposed but just barely and it sure ain't on my bike. I've tuned scores of bikes that had been "autotuned" for many miles before the owner finally decided to come in for a professional tune. So far nobody's had any regrets... except spending the money on the "autodisappointment err, I mean... tune". I use the phrase Steve Cole has in his signature pretty frequently. "The best you know is the best you've had... not necessarily the best", pretty frequently. I use his product a lot too so maybe he'll forgive me for using the quote.

You might want to get with Casey at Caseys bike shop. You are not too far from him. He buys a fair amount of our kits and he has a tuner.. and access to a dyno. I think the guy is doing it on the side but still may work out for you. Tell him I said hello.
