  I was again surprised at how well maintained the roads were from Ensenada to Tecate. That area is Mexico's wine country and it looks like there would be plenty of opportunities for tasting and dining along the way back to the border. The total mileage from Ensenada to my place in Lake Elsinore, Ca was 180 miles to give everyone a reference as to distance traveled. Its amazing where one fill-up will take you here in SoCal.
