X3.

Keep it on a Battery Tender when not riding.  Usual life is about 4 years, like 2Lane said - when it goes weak, time to replace.

I still buy the Harley batteries, however tend to have to agree with Two lane to replace on a schedule before you are stranded.  Mine died at a gas stop in PA while we were on way to Chappy'sfuneral last year.  Lucky for me we were within ten minutes of a dealer and  GH took my old one and picked up a new one for me.  By the way it was my original battery and yes I waited to long.  Always keep n battery tender when not in use.
your bike is an 06 correct? is your battery 9 yrs old? ???

Found it on Amazon for about $150.  :2vrolijk_21:

With 500 cranking amps, I am going to give the Yuasa GYZ32HL a try.

I had the Big Crank from www.Batterymart.com in my old bike. It's really a re-branded Deka AGM battery. About $85 delivered in a couple days. Had it in there three years when I traded the bike.

You may want to bite the bullet and get one before it goes south.  Speaking from experience it will let you down when you least expect it.
