Hats off to Steve at GMR Performance. He took my 2015 CVO Street Glide and "woke" up this animal. I am very pleased.

Attached are the Dyno numbers comparing the CFRs to the D And D Zillas on my bike. I really liked the look and sound of the CFRs but once I realized how much they hurt my performance we yanked them off and went with the D And Ds. (I have a set of CFRs for Sale if you're interested).

That looks good.  Are the zillas just slip ons?  What head pipe are you using?

Chris, I am using the D&D full system. (Head pipe and muffler).

Another great build by Steve. Glad you yanked those CFR's. I wouldn't have been able to spend all that cash and have those slip ons leach all that performance. Good call!

Goes to show how just numbers dont tell the whole story. 8 hp/6 tq difference, but a night and day difference in the curves, especially where you feel it down low.

FastFreddy, I had the Fullsac 2:1:2 headpipe. The headpipe was not the problem according to Steve. He has used it on many bikes without these issues.

The D&D 2:1 made a huge difference.

The mid RPM dip on the curve was tune... The VE jump that it wanted at that are was over 50 points I had run flat out out of room. The map was bottomed out in the low rpm range and it was peaked at 127.5 in that area. The tune was no fun by any means..  Head pipe was not the issue in any way. 100% muffler creating the issue. Now maybe a smaller build stock t/b etc may have allowed a nicer curve. But it is not like the CFR mufflers ( these are the new version as well) have ever been a great performance item. Customer wanted a loud system , other wise a set of Crusher mufflers would have been a killer way to go as well. Time frame on the tune was not allowing a ton of options for us..

So specs on that build are

GMR 113 kit
GMR 600 cam 248/249 600 lift
HPI 58 Elliptical t/b
100% stock heads
stock injectors
AIM SDR clutch unit
D&D zilla pipe
SE pro tuner.

Here's the dyno chart on mine. Max power of 105.72 with max torque of 114.57. Horsepower comes in late and mpg is terrible. Got to believe the tune is way off. You can smell gas when you first start it up.

Dave

This has CFR mufflers on it or a rinehart with big baffle maybe??  One thing that you also can get with the Pro tuner and even other tuners is AFV will make corrections bases on 02 in the pipe and if the muffler is extremely open like a CFR/ rinehart  it could add fuel on its own to try and make corrections even though it wrong. The sensor only knows that it see 02 and if the level is to high it will try to add fuel..

Another option is bring it up and lets see what we can do with the tune ,

HA HA fair enough  so how about a peek into the mods on my own 124  he he been testing a few new parts, Hp is up a few but the tq is up and broader down low.  ignore info on sheet I dumped it into the wrong file.. Still not happy with the little 124. Heads are being redone going to use a new piston combo and goal is 150+ hp and 145+ tq. I need 6/6 to reach the goal  ... I am working on my 10 Second S&S 1/4 mile patch running bottom 11 sec pass's now  11.03 best this year  ( In full touring set up tour pack and all) . LOVE MY SHARK!!!!!!!
