Like others here I brought my bike to Steve at GMR to have him build a 113. I had already installed his 577 cam, lifters and changed out the exhaust to V&H power duals and Kuryakyn crusher mellow mufflers. However, during that change I discovered crank run out was already at .007" and felt it was time to do the full build and take care of the 110 issues once and for all.
The build consisted of the following: reworked heads (valves, springs, guides, port work and cc), bore and hone cylinders to 4.060 with new Pistons, GMR 577 cam, lifters and pushrods, HPI 58 mm FBW, S&S TC3 oil pump and cam plate, S&S crank with SE HD bearings. In addition, had a new SE compensator, GMR compensaver and Barnett Scorpion clutch with lock up installed.
Ok so how did it turn out? The attached dyno sheet shows you the before and after, a 20% improvement across the board despite very hot, humid conditions not conducive to making power. So those are numbers on a piece of paper, how does it ride? AWESOME! Without a doubt this bike is stronger than my SEEG was with a 120. It is a blast to ride with power and torque everywhere. It accelerates quickly and you have to be careful how much throttle you grab as the front wheel will come off the ground. Don't ask me how I know this!
Many thanks to Steve for putting together a great product and tune to make it all work. Well worth the trip from Virginia to have it done. Engine has been re-badged accordingly!
