Hard Bags on '07 FLHRSE3

I wanted to do this before, but just got around to it. This is how our '07 SERK's should have come from the factory! The bags are from my '03 RK. Since they were Black, I thought it would give a good enough visual of what the bike will look like. It'll just be better with the right paint on it. Here's a few shots of it. Just a teaser until I get mine painted! ;) Hoist! 8)

Amazing how much different/better those bikes look with hard bags, IMO.  Good job!  Gonna look suhweet when you get 'em painted.  Maybe you could imprint that leater-lookin' flame thingy on top too :huepfenjump3:...it'll give it that authentic look.

Thanks guys. I love the look too! I'm going to try to match the paint on the top, sides and rear, but I don't think it's gonna be in Pewter Leafing. We're gonna try to match up with paint, as best we can, with the flames and pinstriping.

Here's what it's like with my trusty old RK Touring bucket, that's been on 3 previous RK's, with the matching regular passenger backrest

Howie, Just what I need, more confusion and indecision in my life. I really like the looks of your bags. I did not think I would and had been looking at various leather bags and had even bought some screamin eagle pins and medallions to put on them when I found the right ones. Looks good Howie :2vrolijk_21:  We cant see the fine flakes in the black on them cause the suns glare is to strong!!!  The bike is really looking cool...to beat Chip the eye glare from the chrome inner might just be the ticket to catch him  while the rope is  slack??? :nixweiss:
