Just turned 10K and looks like I will be replacing my tires soon, what would be my best bet?

Rode a friends FSE2 last weekend after he had replaced the OEM's with Avon Venom.  Noticeably, a better ride and much quicker handling in the curves.  Don't know about their wear history, but a very impressive replacement.

I have a mate with venoms on his heritage softail, & he swears they are the best tyre, But I prefer the Metzeler  Mathron 880 range exelent all rounder designed for cruisers. Don't buy another Dunlop they are chit in my opinion!

Cheers
