yes, that is the intent, it was done to avoid potentially waiting to load 100+ replies into the history section when replying to a post

OK, the having to re-login or worse unable to stay logged in ( for users on AOL ). i know what is causing the problem, and if it cant be resolved today i will be moving us back to the older version of the software

Thanks for the Show New button...I think it is new and it works great for me...basically, the first time through tell it that everything has been read...now I just have to look for the recent discussions in the groups I am concernerd about!
