I still like to use the CB when several of us are riding together.  Were you able to save the CB?

I guess you could change the antenna mount to the rear??

You will need to use the tourpak in order to use the CB. The CB antenna has a load coil installed in the TP which is necessary. I'm sure something could be fab'd up if you wanted to move the entire assembly to a fender mount, but it would more than likely look like heck.

Normally, using the CB means having the TP installed.

Looks sweet. You can not go wrong with Danny Grays work as far as I'm concerned it blows Corbin out of the water. Make sure you have them make it for you instead of buying from a distributor. They use Italian leather when they custom make seat for you. I just got the bigseat which is solo and can add pass. pillion. After 2500 mile trip what a huge difference over Corbin.

Removed my tour pak last fall and have never regreted it. I can now quickly morf my ride between three looks, the naked Electra look, the original leather tour pak look or I also have a King Tour Pak painted to match for trips. Having detachable hardware in place is a great investment and offers some really cool looks to keep your bike exciting and interesting.

I plan on tossing the amp and going with  the Hawg Wired fairing mount amp with HW speakers installed in lower fairings.  Woud like to use leather tourpak for trips only (quick release).  Has any one figured out something that looks good to plug unused holes in tourpak from removed rear speakers, antennas, wire feeds?

Once my tour pak was detachable, I filled all unused holes with hole plug hardware available at any hardware. I left the speakers intact on the passenger armrests and have stubby flexible antenna's in place rather than removing the mounts which expose very ugly and hard to fill holes in the back of the tour pak. Mine looks relatively stock with the leather tour pak in place but I prefer my king tour pak for trips.

I replaced speakers in the fairing and tourpack with the Hawg-wired. Plenty of sound with two speakers in the Street Glide look. Then when Momma rides, the tour pak is attached and the rear speakers are hooked back up.
PS, HD Dude can hook you up with 6 speaker combo, four up front and two more when T-P installed... :bananarock:
