Where are we on Bitubos vs Progressive 440's?

Rog...for those two or three folks who have been able to make a direct comparison to the 440's, the Bitubos win, hands down.  If I already had 440's, maybe the difference would not be enough to make me change/spend the extra money, but if it was me, and I was starting from scratch, I'd get the Bitubos.  If I had 440's that were leaking or about worn out, same thing.  Reasons:  more adjustability; better spring; better rebound/compression damping adjustements.  I think Ernie has got a set, Chief, Hogbreath...Chief and Ernie have direct comparisons, with very favorable reports.  Most of the feedback has been that the Bitubos, when set up properly, do not bottom out/top out like the 440s.  For the 200 bucks extra, I think it would be money well spent...

I have them on my V, and even Suzanne noticed a HUGE improvement, but the comparison is with the stock HD Dyna type shock (probably the same shock as the V).

For what that's worth....

Thanks TC, I figured as much, when I got the Traxx and did 440's on the SEUC the Bitubo wasn't in.

Most likely I'll just do the works and have it over with.

That's the plan for now, just need to decide what height.  I think I'll ultimately go with the SEUC height as both bikes will be the same that way.  May as well feel alike since one will be west and one east of the mountains to cover both houses.
