Ok,I get the feeling from what I've read they ALL take a dump at 5k miles,or shortly there after.Who's still going without any problems and how many miles? I'm at 850 miles,no problems. ;)

4000 and only problem is that the heated grips crapped out about 500 miles ago.

6000 miles three head gaskets on original motor and now a new motor.  But still love the bike!

You might want to stipulate 2007 or 2008. Changes have been made, such as size of throttle body, but were the changes enough?

14.5k on my Jester new in Feb. 07.

But I have a problem - I don't get to ride it as much as I'd like.  No issues with the 110 though.

wow, that IS a problem.  You contacted service for warranty fix on this?  I haven't even SEEN mine since mid November!  It's in storage and the forecast today is mid 60's.  Oh the HUMANITY!

George - I whined some about it but nobody seemed to care.  I'm too lazy to read the entire warranty info - don't want to end up like Hoist & be  w-----y-phobic.  j/k  ;D

Global warming is a good thing, unless your bike is in storage.  I bet I have put as many IMAGINARY miles on my CVO as anybody........

I got mine in January last year and didn't ride it until March.  For 2 months I sat on it every day.  I had to have two oil changes before it even saw a road!

Not w.....ty phobic, w.....ty apothetic! Why waste my time on their w.....ty, when they don't have a fix, or even admit they have poor design issues.

For those that don't already know, after a few attempts at HD fixing my POS 110 "factory" motor, I've decided to build my own 110 motor. No more roller bottom end. No more crappy cylinders or head/base gaskets, no more EPA cams or FI. A real 110" performance engine. Let's see if a little guy on long Island can do a better job than the big bad MoCo! I bet he can too! ;)

It's in the 60's here today too. And with the SERK in pieces due to the above, it's time to get some final miles on the old 4-speed WG, before it turns into a CVO style 110" Evo 6-speed! :2vrolijk_21:
