No offense taken Terry. Wink

I'll throw my two cents in. I like the rear tire on the 06' but I think the best overall paint scheme is the 05' cherry. I like the O/B and the blue, the blue seems to be a little harder to find. I've seen them for sale but I've never seen one in person. I like the black motor and the black accents on the 06' and the upgraded brakes. But from an overall I'd buy an 05'. I agree with Terry on the 06' having a better resale because of the rear tire and brake system. The brakes on mine work fine, IMO, and I can put a 200 rear tire on without a problem if needed.

Funny but the reasons Terry likes his 06 graphics are the same reason I like the 05'. All the paint colors need to be seen up close. There is a lot of detail in the paint on all of them.

V-rods seem to be very sensitive to paint scheme's. I've seen the same bike in different colors. Some look great and some are awful. But they make the overall look of the bike look bad. Tough to explain, it's not like a bad color on a Fat Boy or a Road King. I think it's because the frame rails are right out there the color choice is important to help the look of the design and vise versa, they accent each other. Just my opinion.

I love the look of Ken's Night Rod, the red line rims and the lack of chrome looks impressive. You really can't go wrong with the 05' or 06'. Both are beautiful and both have a lot of power and are a blast to ride. Look forward to seeing what you decide.

06's suck.  Roll Eyes

Have a nice day,  huepfenlol2
Ed

Damn that is a good looking 05' down there, right down there, that's it.  huepfenlol2 huepfenlol2 huepfenlol2 huepfenlol2
