Finally Finished ? (Maybe)
« on: February 01, 2008, 03:19:41 PM »

Well, I have to admit ... It's quite a while since I have had the time to come and visit the site... Work and building this bike have consumed about every minute of the day I've had for over 18 months.

She's finally finished... Well sort of. There are still a few more items to build, but close enough.

Thought I'd share a little.

If your interested in seeing the complete build in pictures, you can visit my picture site at: http://community.webshots.com/user/hdcruiser

Thanks - I love the wheels - Figured with the money spent I'd go the route of the 360 brake so you could see them. Notice theres no rotor.

If your ever in Toronto Canada, let me know - Love showing her off.   ;D

Have you ridden the bike enough to get a good feel for the 360 brake?  I've got the same wheels on my 06 SEUC...really like 'em.

One of these days, we're going to make it up that way, so we'll look you up!!

I just want you to know that I now need cosmetic surgery to repair my chin that broke when it hit the top of the desk.

Wow, is such an understatement.  I have to go away and come back later and look slowly cause there was too much to take in first look.

Congrats.  Wow, Oh Wow, Oh Wow!

Do that... (Look me up)

I had to change the Harley hand controls to a PM set as the piston on the reservoir was to big on the Harley set up, once that was done I could bleed the brakes no problem. I have around 500K on the system now and everything is 100%.

WOW!!!! Didn't realize it until I started viewing the photo album you linked too. You've got a Supercharger on it, and converted it to open primary belt drive. What are the mods to the motor that we can't see?

BTW - Nice Blondie to go w/the bling in the photo album. :2vrolijk_21:

Parts list is pretty long - But the basics are she sits with a 103 - Supercharged - Putting out about 148HP / 153FPT

As far as I can tell, all Dynos are different - I've had it Dyno'd three times and everyone is differnt - As low as 125 and as high as 168. go figure?!?!

Sweet, with those numbers (range) doesn't matter I bet the "seat of pants" dyno makes you smile everytime you twist the throttle. ;D

Although I have only had the opportunity to get a couple of hundred "K" under my belt before the winter, it is kind strange to see the sport bike guys faces when you catch up to them.  :huepfenjump3:
