thats great thanks, sorry i^m a bit dumb with a pc, used to working a apple computer, what r the instructions to install the sert cd on a pc

Just download the zip file to a directory, right mouse click on the file and select extract.  Just remember where the files are extracted.  Go to the folder were the files are extracted and double click on "Launch.exe" and follow the on screen instructions.
After the installation finished have  :drink:  and have fun.

Yes, I use it on my Vista laptop with a Keyspan USB - Serial adapter. No issues
