Got my FLTRSE3

After waiting since 8/8 (struck the deal) and a "expected ship date" of 8/18. I picked up my new Road Glide on Saturday 9/6. My 03 had served me well better than 82K on the clock. But I couldn't be happier with the new one. I've already replaced the "wind screen" with a +1 clearview, can't wait for the rain to stop to try it out.

Yeah, so what's the deal with the lowers?  Someone on here was just saying you couldn't get them painted to match. :nixweiss: :confused5:

I have no idea - but I read here somewhere that you could get non vented lowers painted to match - but not vented lowers painted to match.

Makes no sense - but I read it here!

Makes no sense - but I read it here!

I don't think Road Glides ever have had the vented lowers, but it's good that you can at least get them. :2vrolijk_21:

Congratulations! Your SERG looks great with the tourpak and lowers. I am interested in seeing a few pictures of your Clearview windshield from different angles, and a ride report on the windshield would be great also. Hopefully, the weather will clear up for you so you can get out and enjoy the ride.

That is a good looking bike.  I really like the lowers they really add to the bike. 

By the way if you look in the 09 parts catalog you will see that they are offered... just more for the SERG except for black that goes with the O/B

Did you buy the glove boxes???

There were no vented lowers when the earlier SERG's were offered.

You would think that today they would only make (and offer) the vented lowers...  :nixweiss:

Tell us how you got the lowers. They look FANTASTIC with that color scheme in Titanium. How can I get a set?
