Aren't they spun aluminum like the rest of the SE bikes?  If so HD sell one as does a guy named Roger Mckewen (not sure on the spelling.  Might do a search.

Heres a number for Roger. You may try Roger McEwen 951-736-4421 he made the oil temp gauge for the SEEG before HD came out with one.

I have had the gauge installed on my '05 and it worked okay. And then on the '08 with little result. That was because the dealer followed the Moco instructions for installing the thing with a sensor "behind" the oil cooler, which in itself is temperature activated. As a result the gauge never showed anything. Before I got around to have the dealer install the gauge correctly, as specified in the many posts in the related threads in this site, the bike was gone.
Now I use the part #63004-09. It's a replacement for your dipstick that gives oil level and temp.  I do like it because of the level, and it always works. Some people, however, do like the temperature visible in the fairing. Check this thread as well ... http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=6385.0

Ride safely,

Here is the deal.  the backlighting is different on the SERG, red vs blue, I think.  However, it is simply a bulb change.  As part of the parts that I am putting on my new ride, this is exactly what the HD dealer did.  I saw it yesterday and it is a perfect match.  Yes, they are the spun aluminum ones.  Ted

The spun aluminum gauges come with red.

The bulb color comes from a condom that goes over the bulb, so it should be easy to change the gauges aren't sealed.

The oil temp guage is a lot different to the new Spun SE guages in the illumination. The P&A and the 04 -08 SE bikes come with a back lit gauge. The New 09 guages are lit via the numerals on the face.

Went the the dealers yesterday, HD Dude is right, the 09 SERG gauges do not match the 08 spun gauges, they are totally differant when lit up. Guess Have to wait for the new ones to come out, also but not positive the dealer says they are LED for 09.  Thanks Doc

They are not LED. I have had my local parts gury check with HD and as of about 2 weeks ago there was not a new guage coming out
