thanks, they do have a listing in the new h-d winter catalog and your insert from the stock aircleaner does fit, much better than the one they offer in the kit,the insert from the bike is also vin specific

Does this A/C flow better, worse or the same as the traditional SE A/C upgrade that most have used on their SEUC? :nixweiss:

anything had to be better than the ones that came on the cuse4,at least this one is completely open all the way around except the top and bottom about 2"on top and the bottom.I know now at least it doesn't sound like its starving and running under water.By the seat of the paints feel it seamed looser and more responsiveness. As soon as the weather breaks it will be going on the dyno for a tune with the mods that Ive done.Ive been happier with it, also looks much cleaner.

when i was taking delivery of my UCSE4, the dealer was also delivering a SERG. the bikes were parked next to each other and the first thing i noticed, was the air cleaner. i walked over to the parts desk and ordered one. everything came in, but the element. still waiting for that. what i was wondering, did you have to map the bike, after the install. I've added RUSH slip-ons, but figured that seeing that the mufflers are on the way out of the motor, no map was required. I'm thinking that seeing that the SERG and UCSE4 are the same motor and set up, i can change the air cleaner and not have to map it. your thoughts please? :

when i changed the air cleaner I also added the supersert from harley.I put there base map in for the 110cu mtr

with mufflers you don't have to change the map, because no more air is going through, but by changing the air cleaner being more open ,that is when I did it so now you will flow more air and that makes it leaner.

As soon as i get the ft pipe done she's going to get mapped

Hope this helps,my .02c is it does run better and smother of the bat, doesn't feel like its choked up

Jon,

Looks good!  When I put the HD heavy breather on my SERG3, we put the SERG a/c on my buddy's '08 SEUC.  That and new mufflers really awakened his motor.  He went with a fuel pak rather than SERT and still likes it.  The SERT should even be better...  Enjoy!

I am looking foward to getting that ft pipe done and then it goes to dyno.there was a big diff from stock to mufflers air cleaner and mapping of the super sert,I also holed out the cat,but now it all goes away, hopping for another big diif with the dyno and cc
 removal

thanks

Jon,  I'm sure lot's of us would like to know if there is a significant difference between drilled and eliminated cat.  (Assuming a/c, mufflers and SERT)  Please post number comparison when you can!  Thanks.

It is going to be a few weeks ,but I will post the #'s,If Steve from fullsac is getting 8 hp from a full one to an empty one,I would expect a little less in numbers because I had already drilled mine out

I will keep everyone informed,I still haven't been able to get my hands on a stock head pipe, every time i ask someone they have thrown it out :o

I like the look of that air cleaner on the SEUC. Wonder if it would fit on my '08 SEUC ? Only one mod I have. I like the SE insert on the '07-'08 years alittle better
than the '09 look. If my insert would fit in that air cleaner, I would go for it. I think it looks great. And with the 3D insert fitted, it would be outstanding..
