I've spent most of this morning researching baffle repacking material.  I've read posts here about a ceramic blanket material that I would have to order out of country.
I recently pulled the baffles and catalyst from my '08 USE and noticed that half the fiberglass pack is gone.  (I'm doing the Fullsac muffler conversion).
What's working for others?   What are you using?  Where did you get it?
I don't want to put fiberglass back in if it's only going to last a few thousand miles.  (I only have a little over 5k miles on my bike).  I don't think you should have to repack your mufflers every year.

Steve,

That's the same packing material I ordered on eBay last fall.  Works really well.  Just the right width to fit the full length of the screen.  You can go around the screen about 2 times and it will still fit in the muffler.  I took some pictures while I did the whole process and can email them to you if you would like.

George, It was a real pleasure talking with you the other day.  -Hopefully we'll be riding soon!
Please send the pics you mention here.  I would really appreciate it.  I haven't really looked at how to get the screen out yet.  I hope I ordered enough material.  It sounded like enough for me to cut it to work on both baffles.
