a hole in the rim - it looks as if it has been cast with a bubble in it and the hole has blown out

Chock another one up for quality control....

The wheels are cast except for those that are forged.... and made by Alcoa for HD

I have had a chrome plating default on my rear rim... sheets of chrome gone like skin depleting...Rim has been changed under warranty.

I had that type of problem with the 01 Ultra I had.  It had a pinhole in the rim down inside one of the the spokes.  It wouldn't leak much and was a bear to find.  It happens with any cast product.
