Headbolt bridges
« on: March 18, 2009, 02:08:05 PM »

Has anyone had any success with finding a headbolt bridge that will work on the SE 110 heads?  :nixweiss:

The stock chrome ones form the Moco fit well ... I have them on my '07 SERK.

Ride safely,

I put the chrome ones on 2008 fxdse and had to grind the spark plug hole from the back.
The plug is not centered in the hole, the 110 motor must be different?
The grinding worked and doesn't show.
They do look good.

The chrome ones would'nt fit on my 07 SEUC either. I ended using the finned ones. I was also told not to use the chrome ones anyway as they can retain more heat. I still have the new chrome ones if any wants them for 1/2 price.

I found the same to be true on the '09 110, the hole is offset so much it's a tight fit with the spark plug boot, I'm looking for other options to dress up this side of the engine.

The 110's are granite in color, what color did you go with? I only see black and silver :nixweiss:

Did you look here? http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=28675.0  Black and silver are you're two choices. You need to paint the fins to match.

I did, thanks, I'm concerned over the paint's exposure to the extended heat. I guess if I used a high temp paint I'd be OK. Do you know if these fit with out grinding as mentioned in the other post?  :nixweiss:

Sorry. I only speak from Highwaystar's experience. He did mention that the plug boots fit w/ no problem. I was wondering about the heat as well and hope he jumps in w/ a report on how the paint holds up.

FWIW, I used these on both my Electra Glides. Over time I developed a rattle that I just couldn't figure out. Turned out that the front attachment had loosened. I think they're a bit of a PITA but I do like how they "complete" the fins on the port side.
