Here's the controller switch. If you get their heated grips, they have a similar controller switch for the other bar to control temp on the bar heaters.

very nice! Trying to find cleaner ways to install stuff... was easier on the wing and on my GS when I didn't care so much... lol

I can tell you from my 07SG I used the Harley dual jumper and this is what I found. Since there was no wiring diagram I got a meter and tested all 4 pins in the acc. plug. There is one (constant on 12v pin when the bike is on) and (one 12v switched pin from the triple tree) and (one brake light power). The other pin is a ground wire. I cut off one plug on the jumper and soldered into the switched pin for my electric glove plug. I still have another plug if needed. I will get a picture tonight of my harness because I have not put it in the new bike yet. If I were you I would connect the electric suit plug to the un-switched circuit and put your Led lights on the switched circuit. I will follow up With pics and a diagram.   :2vrolijk_21:

OK here are some pictures. I cut off one of the black male plugs and put a meter to it. Here is a make shift wiring diagram. This is looking into the male plug on your bike. The red circled 12v pin is the switched pin.

Once you identify the grounds and switched and un-switched wires just solider in your harness for your suit. Remember to use some heat shrink. This option allows you to move the harness easily from one bike to the next. Good Luck!   :2vrolijk_21:

Harleypingman You are correct! I Digress! I went back and checked the book and the bike. I must have lucked out and picked the correct ground when I made my harness. I am posting a correct diagram I just made from the info I gathered on my bike. I had the glove on and working fine.

PLEASE double-check those grounds.  There is one ground wire (wire color is black).  The other wire you identify as a ground is likely the brake light circuit (red wire w/ yellow stripe) and is energized only when the brake switch is closed.  HD uses that accessory connector for the TP spoiler LED and saddlebag spoiler LED accessories which operate as run and brake lights.  You are correct that one wire is a switched circuit controlled by the ACC switch on the fairing cap; one wire is a run light/ignition "on" circuit; and one wire is ground.  The fourth wire is the brake light circuit.  It would not be energized with the ignition "off" or "on" alone; only with ignition "on" and bake lever/pedal depressed.

If that is the case I must have got lucky on which one I used for ground. I did put a meter to them but it was over a year ago. now I will have to go back and check again. it will not be tonight. maybe tomorrow.

I found the switched circuit adapter in the 2010 catalog page 451 item F p/n 70264-94A  $17.95 from the mo-co.

http://www.powerletproducts.com/product/sae-to-coax-female-cable/55

As it turned out, my gerbing did have the SAE connector... that's what I get for not being with my stuff for 2 years... lol
One more month to go!!

Thanks for the info and welcome to the board!
