The first time I had a chance to see and visit with Martha and Jorge since I broke my hip in Florida last year.....they came to town with the HOG Pony Express possee. Remember the 8th grade history, the pony express started in Sacramento and went to St. Joseph, Mo. for a couple of years before the transcontinental telegraph was completed.

Where there were many bikes......many CVOs. This one and the watermelon next to it are from Indiana.

And of course, the Wells Fargo stage......

They had the old west shoot out and the pony express came galloping in on horseback, etc. Quite a show.

We decided to take Jorge and Martha down to old Sacramento.....to the actual building where the Pony Express actually started from at 2:45 a.m. that first morning.

Martha got this shot for all you guys.....life on the river in Sacramento. This photo was actually taken from the deck of the Delta King......it's now permanently docked in Old Sacramento and is now a hotel and several lounges and restaurants.
