SE Air Cleaner Part numbers (not the kit )
« on: March 29, 2010, 12:22:52 PM »

These are the part numbers from my invoice when I added a high flow air filter to my 09 SEUC. The invoice is from August 4, 2009 so I hope these numbers are still accurate. HD chrome backplate kit: 29624-08 ($49.95)  HD HDP O-Ring 11292 (needed 4 at $1.07 each ) $4.28 HD HDM Gasket 29241-08 $8.95  HD HDP A/C Mounting Stud 29447-99A (needed 3 at $12.95 each ) $38.85  HD HDM Torx, SBH Screw 3938 (needed 3 at $1.50 each ) $4.50   K & N Air Filter (I don't think this is a Harley Part no. 1011-1410) $69.95  I mounted these separate parts very easily with the directions HD emailed me from the kit they sell. The bonus here over the kit is that you get the chrome backing  plate and the K&N filter. I installed this prior to my fulsac stage one setup and with just the high flow air filter ,before the fullsac down load, non cat head pipe and 1.75 baffles. I could feel a difference. I hope this helps someone. Also I retained the stock air filter cover so it looks stock. CAHDBIKER

Will this setup work with the 2009 SERG?  I am looking for away to replace the stock (i.e. crappy) filter with a K&N.  I don't care if I have to replace the stock cover.

It will work on all 2008 and later Touring bikes with the stock 50mm throttle body.  In the case of the SERG, you would of course have to come up with a cover as you noted.
