To All my good friends of the CVO family, I really appreciate all your replies and concerns, yes it sucks, but good new is that the thiefs are at the cross-bar hotel !!! SWEET!!, and facing felony charges, which doesn't look like they will be getting out anytime soon. As they say " what goes round--comes round". In answer to some  of the replies, the color of the the CVO that was stolen was Amber Citrus, bike was found 20 miles away from my home(not in Mexico) and yes insurance paid off well, and took delivery of my 2nd CVO Ultra Classic last thursday (3-25-2010). I am now a proud owner of the NEW limited edition Black crimson/slate gray CVO   # 008 of 999 . SWEET REVENGE !!!!!!

Well congratulations JT!

You must be the first on this site to take delivery... No doubt there's a lot of jealous riders out there.

Enjoy your beautiful new ride.  :2vrolijk_21:

JT- good for you!  Thank you very much for sharing this pic. I am looking to get my first CVO Ultra- the local dealer here in Michigan has his alloted one black bike un-spoken for.  I got to see the Amber colored bike for the first time this weekend and was taken back on how great this bike looked in person versus the website.  Now that you have had both- what do you like better?  I know it is a personal preference- but I was just curious. I have always added a mountain of chrome to my previous bikes, and was wondering if the "blacked out" parts were too much black in person.  Again- the bike looks great to me in the pic you shared.  Thanks again for sharing all this, DM

What sort of sick bas---d would do that, I am never able to understand the mentality of anyone who is capable of such wanten destruction, I hope these bums get what they desrve and I am so glad it turned out for you although the anguish that you would have gone through is WRONG. Hope you enjoy your new bike and to hell with the bums that did this unspeakable act. Denis.
