LED Super bright Bright Ass Lights
« on: September 19, 2010, 10:18:27 AM »

Just installed a LED tail light from Bright Ass Lights.  Holy Crap are these things bright!!  Best two hundred I have spent on lights.  It will take a blind moron to hit you from behind. Unfortunately they do exist out there.

I also installed Motolight's Caliper mount driving lights with 50 watt bulbs and Harley's new LED headlight and passing lights . A lot of money but a big improvement.

The Motolights are great. I will never own a bike again without them. From my screen name you can guess what I do for a living. I am a paramedic and the Director of an Emergency Medical Service. With 25 years in EMS I have seen some pretty ugly sights, many of them fatals, as the result of some a-hole pulling out in front of a bike. With the Motolights you can see me coming from a half mile away!! There expensive but worth every penny.

Put the brightasslight on my 03 SERK two summers ago.  My second ride out after the installation, I got stopped by a patrol car.  I asked in my most polite voice, "Did I do something wrong, Officer?"  I expected a "yes" for something--no idea for what.  Instead he said, "No, just wanted to ask where you got that taillight.  I have to get one for my scoot!"
