Anyone with actual experience using the TMAN 625 cams in a 103 or something close to it?  Have a buddy redoing the top end and cam chest on his 103 who is asking about this cam set.  Told him I'd pass the question on to the literati.  He's planning on CR at about 10.25:1

I know what the manufacturer's specs say.  First impression from those specs though is that the cam set might be happiest with a bit more motor than he's planning on building.  But real world experience trumps such impressions.  Should anyone have such experience please share and I'll pass it along.

That cam works very well in 103's at that compression. I have done several builds with it from 98" to 124". . I am doing another 103" now in an 09 FLHX with balanced, trued, plugged, welded crank, SE 10.5-1 forged pistons ,  ported polished heads and a bassani 2-1 pipe.

He is going to 2-1 Fatcats as part of his build.  Thanks Jim for the confirmation.  Will pass it along.

How early did it come in?  Were it mine I would care less what was reported beyond 4500.  This buddy thinks top end is important though like me he rarely rides there.  So when and where did the cams work?

Thanks so much.  Have told the buddy some insights were being shared.  Will pass on the numbers.  That's a lot more research than he ever does before spending bike $$$ .    huepfenlol2

Don,

On my 124 with the .625 I crossed 125 ft lbs @ 2500, then was flat at around 140 up to about 5,000.  I love that cam!  Dyno sheet attached.

That's impressive Ernie.  Can appreciate your enthusiasm.  When reviewing the specs my thought was something similar for the larger displacement like yours was.  Still curious how comparable ramp would be on the smaller engine though.  Yours had to have been a blast to ride 2vrolijk_21 .

on my 95in, 3000rpm i am  at 95ft/lbs it breaks 100ft/lbs at 4200rpms it stays above 95ft/lbs from 3k to 6k rpms, peak Hp at 6k 106hp
on my 117in, 3000rpms i am at 120ft/lbs, 3750rpms 130ft/lbs , it stays above 120ft/lbs from 3k to 5k rpms, peak Hp117 at 5500rpms
both motors were built for touring, with Torque, reliability, and fuel economy as i mostly enjoy distance riding.  The 95in has a 50mm throttle body on it, my motor builder told me that if i went back to the stock one i would pick up some more torque, but i just haven't had time to play with it any more.
on both motors AFR is set at 13-1, both bikes have stage 2heads, D&D Exhaust, zipper's air filters.

That's helpful also.  That's a change with displacement that I expected when looking at the cam specs.  Thanks.
