Austria and Garmisch
« on: October 01, 2011, 01:27:07 PM »

I have some video that I will be working on as well.

This picture is the most expensive one I have ever taken.

There was a small hill with gravel to get to this spot, doesn't seem like it from the picture.  I am 5'6" and once the bike went over the crest it got a little unstable at low speed and I had to reach out with my foot which resulted in only my toes grabbing gravel and the bike going over.  Luckily I got my first scratch out of the way and the only damage was to the right side rear saddle bag, only the lower back portion in the black, either way going to cost some $$ to repair.

More to follow.

Bummer on the lay down but glad you're ok. Awesome pictures. I'm trying to place the castle and it looks like Neuschwanstein but from a different angle. I would so dig going back to Garmisch for another visit but wish I had my bike with me. I'll need to look into a rental I reckon. Thanks for posting the great pics!

There are a few places you can get rentals.

1st picture is Neuschwanstein and second is the largest waterfall in Europe just outside Gerlos Austria.

BTW, if you find yourself near Garmisch take the road that goes from Garmisch to Wallgau and then to Vorderriss, wonderful secret stretch.

Germans love Harley's.
