Hi bagger103,
I remember several months ago someone posted photos in this section of a 2006 with the tour pak removed.I don't remember who did it though. I don't think he made it detachable though he just streamlined his bike.
I would guess the problem would be the under pak amp. The other member did away with it and just lived with the front speakers. You would also have to relocate the two antennas not just one.

I saw one done that way yesteday at 29 Dreams, but did not get a chance to talk with the guy.  He only had one antenae...looked nice.  He had also changed out the seat to something like is on the street glide and had a sissy bar.  Of course, the amp was gone.

OK...here comes the cat out of the bag. I just finished (well not really finished) my removav;e tour-pak. The radio still works, WITH AMPS (Hawg-Wired). the CB still works, I added lighting to the rear for safety and it looks GREAT!

Pics are on the way. Look for them by tonight.

That looks nice. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] I'm partial to that "Draggin' Bagger" look. ;) What are those lights on the tourpak rack?

I used them to replace the license plate bracket that I removed. I have them hooked up as brake lights. Pictures above....and thanx! [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Who makes them, how are they applied? That is an excellent way of removing any signs of the bracket. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]
