Winter hasnt really taken hold this year, but no new SOA episodes to look forward too every week and we are already bored with the cold wet weather.

Nice assortment of goodies Bruno, I just packed up my collection of trophies last weekend and put them in storage.

Very nice pics, all of them. Thanks for posting these, guys! It's nice to have something to look at when it's too nasty outside to ride.

We're supposed to have a group ride here tomorrow - but today it's heavy rain and T-storms. Hopefully Mother Nature will be in a better mood in the morning, and we can get out!

Had a mirror from a job I did so I decided to cut a hole in my wall and create this.  On the left is a Sturgis picture. Also notice in the mirror a framed piece i did a few years ago.

I don't have a very big collection of Harley & car related items, but some mean a lot to me.  Because the title of this thread says, "and collections", I'll post a few times with my wife's Betty Boop collection items.  She hasn't been collecting for the past 6 or 7 years and it "thinking" of selling her collection, but for now it still takes up our second largest bedroom as you'll see later.

If you can't guess, I'm into Willys gassers, other gassers and cars of the 50's and 60's.  Please excuse the dust...  Embarrassed  Embarrassed

Here is "some" of my wife's Betty Boop items.  She still has something like another couple hundred items that are still in boxes.  She has so much she was even buying duplicates because she just didn't remember having it before.  She also has most all of the original boxes the items came in.

Again, please excuse the dust in some of these shots.

Enjoy...  And for my sake if might be interested in this type of collection, let me know!

This is all hand made of sequins and was a limited production of I believe just 100.

When people we know come over for the first time, we tell them that Linda collects Betty Boop.  They think that she might have a few shelves here and there, but the most common name for her collection room is that it's a shrine to Betty Boop, not a collection.

I make these model 1/18 scale shacks for people

they put their own bikes they want with them

there's toolboxes air tanks hand made signs and stuff, I make them from cedar and they have a light in them

Got a few of them strown thru the house, people like the no parking and biker only signs, they are the last thing I add before sending them out

Anybody wants one PM me costs me less than $100 to build it all together even with the scale parts

Very nice work on the garages.

There are a few places around here that sell all of the miniature tools, hoists, floor jacks etc.

Keep up the great work.

I believe that's all folks!!!!

I posted these pictures maybe a month ago here and as you know, this is my wife's collection of Betty Boop items.  She's been "thinking" about possibly selling the collection as a whole, no cherry picking as she puts it.  What might be a good place to offer or list a collection like this?

I've been on ebay and checked out "collections" and did some craigslist.org national searches, but what people are calling collections are anywhere between 10 to maybe 100 items.  I just did a quick averaging of the displays she has along with many other items she can't even display and we're over 2,000 items of value.  This doesn't include the little $1 or $2 items that you pick up on a whim, so to speak.

Anyway, I'm looking to help her move this stuff and any suggestions on where to list would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Somewhere in my photo collection, I have photos of meeting Sparky in Keystone, South Dakota during the Sturgis Rally sometime back in the early 2000's.

Thanks to all about the link to Sparky.

I tried here late yesterday and got a reply that she didn't receive my e-mail because her mail box was full.

I haven't seen much activity on her site for travels and pictures since about 2003.  Does anyone know, know her?

She's probably still one of the best places to start if we do move forward and list my wife's collection.

If anyone has any other ideas or finds a possible listing site, let me know.

Thanks again.

I have a few HD collectables.  Actually, I have quite a few however, most are packed and in storage.  Here's what I have here in the house.

This first one is a collection of refrigerator magnets of all the places we've been on the bikes in the past two years (the others are on the refer in the garage)....

Tree of the trophys that we've brought home in the past year.

I have 32 Franklin Mint Harley Davidsons.  I think about 20 are in the show case.

and the bikes from the movie Easyrider.....
