Does anyone know if the 2012 CVO Ultra Classic Electra Glide FLHTCUSE7 comes with the Smart Siren II. According to the Parts Guy at the local H-D Dealer the receiver will work with no additional parts. So my guess is it does not since it did not work and i was unable to program the remote. Just want to make sure before spending another 89 bucks. I know I can get the right answer here since the Harley Dealer sometimes does not seem to know about their bikes.

Easiest way to tell is to look at the siren and see if there is a black antenna wire coming out of it.........From past experience..I am going to say probably not.

My parts guy told me the same thing so I got the rechargeable pager about $70 AND AFTER HOURS OF TRYING TO PROGRAM IT I ASKED THEM AT THE DEALERSHIP TO SET IT UP FOR ME WHILE THEY WERE DOING 5000 service and after they spent over 45 mins realised it only had the smart security system not the smart security II so after all that they swapped it no charge and apologised for their wrong info from parts guy..happy ending

Well, i wanted a remote pager too. Ordered part no 91672-07, tried and tried to get the thing to encode with my 2012 SEUC. I couldn't get it to work, so I took it into my local HD dealer, he tried and tried with no luck. I went home and read the secuity section of the HD manual. Hooray! Hooray! I found the problem. The pager receivers work only with (page 761 part no 68328-06A $89) Security system smart siren ii. I understand this part is an extra component that is needed for the remote pagers to function. I hope this helps you.

Our bikes dont come with the smart siren II as standard.

how hard was it to switch out to the II?  was it plug and play or did you have to reprogram your fobs?

It was easy enough a caveman even I could do it (and did it) and by no means am I any way close to a "wrench". It is plug-n-play but you will need to program the pager which is a simple task.

My dealer was convinced the bike came with the SS II. I had o show them it did not!
