What is the larget rear tire size I can put on a 2008 SERK?    Looking at ME880.   Thanks....

I would keep the stock size tires,,Don't think it would be a good idea to go larger or widewr with making the appropriate changes to keep the bike safe,,  LIke it rubbing against the drive belt or something like that. I went with Dunlop Elite 3s this time..  They wear much better than the Metzlers and to me rides and handles just as well..On the "old" frame bikes, its a great choice.

I assume you want to stay with the stock wheel since you didn't say otherwise, so you will be very limited when replacing tires on the SERK.  The stock tire is a 170/60R17  78H.  Metzeler has a ME880 in that size and load range, but very little else in a 17" diameter.  They have a 200/50R17 or 210/50R17, but they won't fit on your stock rim.  I have no idea if they would fit the chassis even if you went to a wider rim.
