CVO1: 2012 CVO Ultra Classic

« on: May 23, 2012, 05:19:15 PM »

I made a mistake.   I was looking at all of JR'S customization to his yellow jacket and had to try some of it myself.

I must admit that I started out wanting to copy the mirrored screaming eagle logo that he put on the led on his tour pack.

I placed my order on line and 2 days later the package arrived in the mail.

After looking at the decals I saw that I had made a mistake.   I ordered the wrong size.  I ordered .5 instead of .75.

So I started looking around and tried to figure out what I could do with these.   See below...

Very nice!

I am not a big fan of the SE emblem all over the bike but this looks very nice.

Might have to copy your misstake...

I thought that the moco was getting away from calling them screaming eagles since it don't say it anywhere on the bike except the heads. I thought that screaming eagle was what they referred to the preformance parts. I also have a friend who refers to them as screamin chickens. That kinda turned me off to the whole screaming eagle theme.

It's true they are migrating away from it and pushing the "CVO" moniker more, but they still have the "SE" in the model designations and don't look now, but your air cleaner says "Screamin' Eagle," too.

BTW, your friend is just jealous! Wink

It was discussed in JR's thread - Personalized my Yellow Jacket

......

For the Screamin Eagle decal I made it on edecals.com. Just hit this link http://www.edecals.com/custom_decal_designer/instant_sticker_designer.html and type in box Screamin'Eagle (I went with no space between Screamin' and Eagle) in Chrome Mirror, 3/4" Tall, 10" Wide, Right Slant in Chicago Font! It cost me $17.45 shipped. 2vrolijk_21 Don't know how long it will last but I like it. What the hay, for under $20 I can throw another on on! Cheesy

Hope this helps, good luck and God Bless! 2vrolijk_21
