Topic: Speedometer Glare on windshield (Read 1822 times)

I know a few of you have had this problem too. I ordered the Glare Shield from National Cycle through JP Parts.
It did not fit properly so I returned it. I am thinking if I raise the front of the gas tank about an inch or so, it will solve the problem. Wondering if anyone else has raised their gas tank and if so, which kit/bracket did you use?
Also, would it have any effect on the flow of gas or the amount the tank would hold?
Any feedback will be appreciated. Thanks

That looks like the part I ordered and returned. It was actually just a bit too small to fit. The radius of the curve was smaller than the speedo so the sticky strip did not make contact.
