ipod volume
« on: July 02, 2012, 01:30:13 PM »

I've downloaded music into the ipod I got with my FLTRXSE. With the volume all the way up, I can barely hear the music. I downloaded the same music onto a disc, and at half volume it will blow you out of the seat. I'm I doing something wrong, or is that just the way it is.
              Thanks in advance Jonnierock

I had a similar issue with my ipod, make sure the files are ACC files and not MP3 and turn off the ipod equalizer, it will lower the volume for some reason.

ACC file is the itunes format.  I have converted files from ACC to MP3 in itunes but I haven't tried going the other direction.  If you download from itunes or import a cd to your itunes library they should be in the ACC format unless you have changed your settings to convert everything to MP3.

^^^^^^

Agree.  There are free mp3 to acc converts, just google "mp3 to acc".  But as mentioned above, go through iTunes is the easiest solution.
