At the risk of pissing somebody off (not my intention) I suspect the tune.
The dyno chart has the look of timing being pulled, Delphi Ion Sensing, and other things happening down low. It should be hitting 100 torque where 80 is now.
There may be a few more on top to be had and if the timing is being falsely retarded the peak torque will rise considerably.
But I don't claim to be a tuner.

  Neither

Consider waiting for the Kury TC-24 or possibly GMR's genesis cam  :2vrolijk_21:

Pull the heads, cc/equalize the chambers to carry 10.0 cr, with a .030" head gasket, and install an S&S .570.
You will be mighty impressed. :2vrolijk_21:

Not with that cam/work, but it is always good to double check at the point of installation.

I have to be really honest with you, that looks anemic! I would expect the stock 255's to have a better showing than what you have now. The exhaust is not helping the bottom end. A headpipe change to an x type with a cross under would be a huge improvement, V&H power duals, fuel moto etc. Did your tuner even address the timing? a few degrees here or there can make a huge difference but even then probably not enough to flatten and extend this torque curve. I see you are in NW Iowa so I suspect you have not yet ridden it to have any seat of the pants experience to relay. If you want a good 110 bolt in then I would suggest the cyclerama 575 and it's early intake close to go along with your stock compression. This is a before and after sheet from a 575 bolt in, I probably have a couple more as well. This was a softail bone stock and then with the 575 and Rinehart 2 into 1. We have since combined mild headwork and a bigger throttle body and it is now in the mid 120's for torque

I would say that the Rinehart true duals are responsible for lack of low end torque. Ive had the same results even with LAC true duals. Fuel moto, full sac x-pipes and V&H power duals are a better option.

According to the guys at GMR, my heads were small....they cc'ed around 91-92. They matched the heads, decked them and installed an .030 gasket.
