Tool kit
« on: October 22, 2013, 11:05:17 PM »

Looking to get a tool kit or put one together. Anybody put some tool kits together to carry that doesn't take up much room in the bags? Saw a couple small craftsman sets. What are you all carrying around in your bags?

Everything fits in the 2" x 10" chrome tube...

Won't change a flat rear tire, but...

Don't forget duck tape and brass wire !!     ;)

Sory... It's a DIY.

It took me some time, but got everything that could fit tight like the spark plug socket that fits on my westcott.

I have anotherone a little bigger but that has everything in it...  Let me find my pics...

Here's another one.

Started with a flat tire repair kit (CO2 cylinders, plus some tools) that I found at Canadian tire.  I completed putting as much as I could.  Let your imagination drive you and don't forget the plastic tubing (for helping OTHERS).

Small package...

Note:  Don't think that 5 CO2 cylinders will be enough to inflate a 240, but in some case it could help to find some place to get the repairs done.  Anyways, I wouldn't ride very fast with those plugs...

Hope it can give you some ideas !   :)
