Dyno Test! 2012 CVO, Fullsac DX Pipe, Tman 600!
« on: April 29, 2014, 05:35:46 PM »

2012 CVO Road Glide
Parts installed
Fullsac DX Pipe
Fullsac 2.25 CVO Power Cores
TMan 600SM cam set
Fullsac/Delco HD lifters
Stock pushrods
.030 Cometic head gaskets
Stock Heavy Breather AC, Stock TB
Stock ECM was reflashed using TTS Mastertune.

108 HP and 122 TQ. Peak
TQ Monster for sure! 100 FT pounds at 2500 and almost 120 at 3000 RPM!
Tuned very quickly. Ended up with a really nice TQ curve. Would like to see this with a 58 TB.

Special thanks to Jim Copenski of Deerfield Beach Florida for riding with a Fullsac!

Looking good. Very similar to my 580 cams.

Pretty work there Steve!!!

Are Tman cams starting to be your "Go To" cams or was this bike at the customers request? Just curious.

Tman makes some nice stuff, that's for sure!

I've had these 600s sitting here for a while wanting to try them in something. As soon as I walked out of the dyno room I was on the phone to Tman ordering another set for a 2014 103 that's sitting here. These cams and my DX are really working well together. 122 TQ at 3500 with less than 10-1 compression out of a 110 with stock heads and TB is getting it done! Just got back from test riding it, feels way faster than than only 108 HP. Customer is going to be real happy riding this home after bringing it in stock.

That is awesome. To get to 122 TQ. without head work or throttle body is definitely getting things right. It has to be a fun ride. This is definitely on the list of future mods. If you are going to start carrying this cam count me in.

good info to know.  So the tman cam works with stock pushrods if you use a .030 head gasket

Yes!  The base circle on the 600SM is .060 smaller than stock. This unloads the lifter .030. The .030 Cometic head gasket is .020 thinner than stock taking you the other direction leaving you at .010 less than stock on lifter preload. No issues with that. What a concept, using your stock pushrods that you already paid for. Just bolt it together, no cussing and bleeding, turning the engine to far, open end wrenches getting thrown around. Start up your bike and click click click oh chit, I better check em again. Lol... Sorry, I hate adjustables. They are handy for figuring out exactly how long your solids need to be if your starting from scratch.

The torque looks great.  Can only imagine what it would be like with headwork and a 58 mm TB.   Great job. I know your customer will be happy.   Stuart,

I would really like to bolt a 58 TB on this one and dyno test it back to back. I see 108 HP all the time with the 54 Andrews on this identical build but have never seen this kind of TQ before at both ends. I bet we would see 112 HP + and possibly bump the TQ even more!

Thanks Diamond! The combination is always key. I really want to do the 625 58 TB build again with stock heads. I'm sure you noticed that this 600SM stock head build made more peak TQ than the 625 with the ported heads and 58 TB did? Ported heads are always the wild card with out a stock head baseline with all the same parts.

do you recommend the Tman cams now over the Andrews that you used to use on the stage 2 set up on your site?
already have a stage 1 with all fullsac DX headers and 2.25 cores with tts would the Tman go in with no problems?

The 600 bolts in the same as the 54 with stock pushrods and.030 head gaskets. Yes, we will be offering it with fuel maps very soon.
The TQ increase over the 54 was substantial.

Have you tried the Kury 24 cam with your DX exhaust and power cores with stock heads

Steve, any valve noise with this cam?
How about an overlay with stock dyno run?
